bbq WHAT?

i BBQ octopus now..
i've mastered it. The first time i tried it...........big disaster. but the key is

Octopus Leg (as many as you require)

• the key is not to cut it up until it is cooked.

Marinade - Greek style

• Olive Oil (lots of it)
• Garlic
• Oregano fresh or dry
• Lemon juice
• Salt and Pepper

Put the octopus leg in a bowl or container and pour the marinade on it. Note the octopus will start to turn white because of the acid from the lemon juice will start to cook it. Cover it with gladwrap for 20 mins.

The BBQ should be on by this time and nice and hot..... not it works much better when you cook on coals.

Place the whole leg on the BBQ and let cook for about 5-10mins depending on the thickness. The smaller parts of the legs will cook faster but you just cut them off when necessary.

When the leg is cooked. Place into the untouched marinade you would have had left over. Cut the leg into small peices just like in the picture.

Servce coated with the marinade...

Renovating not as easy as you think..

even when you are doing nothing it is just so teedious.

The picture here shows you our kitchen. It may look 'off white' but we painted it from dirty cream to a colour called Worn White by Haymes.

The cupboards are a high gloss White by Haymes.

The tiles look super brown in this photo but they are a cream.

The lights are from ikea and they run through the apartment with bigger ones in the lounge room and hallway. I like the style.......... like factory lights. Industrial brushed metal look.

I dont know why it flipped the picture but we had all the points changed to a satin metal finish.... they clip on and off. THey look really good, and i'm happy all the 1970's electrical everything is now gone...... so i feel safe.

I highly recomend that everyone see Kanye West at one point or another, he is a great performer.

I saw him at Festival Hall a couple of years ago now with BYCS and had a absolute ball, ok more IT WAS more than a ball
it was one of my favourite nights ever.

Kanye at the Music bowl was awesome aswell. you get a great view no matter where you are standing there. but the sound is super bad.

A big mention on Friday night was NAS, i dont think he has been to Melbourne before but i thought he was fantastic..... musicly better than kanye but kanye's show kicked arse.
Bravehearts was a awesome song and his band was wicked.

I did hope his wife kellis would pop out and do a duet. hehehehe

My radio....

which doesn't atually work.... it has power but no sound, we think there is a broeken wire somewhere.... so the solution is

i think its a beautiful dark brown stained wood, and we would team it with black leather seats from S&P.

Not completely sure if we will get it.

I purchased this black vase from Kosta Boda Mine series

i love it.... it will sit on the bench between the kitchen and living area and look pretty.

Pamper on, Drink on

BYCS gave me a pedicure vouchure for my birthday.

which was very nice.

i had my iphone on silent and was taking photos of the lady.... she didn't even know.

It was a bit shit the chair was broken, so my brocken back stayed sore... sniff

thats the super bright nail polish i picked. It looks orange but its like a super red pink.

Saturday night was filled with curling hair and hair spray and drinking.

I really like drinking out of the V&B goblets, they are heavy and pretty and looks good cause of the large liquid holding area. hahaha

I think i did a superb job on BYCS hair.... i hope she was happy.

Was here on saturday night drinking and eating tapas..... its expensive tapas about 15-20, but the flavours are amazing and love it.

We sat outside in a both (if you look at the photo the non circle booth on the right side of the photo)

I was drinking a Lychee/rum/mint/ok nows i forget but it was potent and scrumcious.

desert was lovely being, lactose intolerant its really difficult for me to get anything other than sorbet BUT BUT BUT rockpool has a strawberry desert and they just took off the cream hahahah i love it

it was cut up strawberrys with mini cubes of strawberry jelly and somesort of liquer but i dont think it was cointreau.

BLOGGED

In the beging i was a re-name stuck on another blog..............BYCS. Then CS tells me i need a blog and i say no way but he says yes way.... anyhoo

i get a email and it tells me my new email address, longin, and blog address

i thought i would hate blogging but it is fun.
My post counts and far higher than Mrblogless, who has started many and neven followed through.
