Another reno post

So as you can see we painted our balcony floor. Yes it was green......... Our apartment was untouched from 1969.

We sanded it back and had to wash away all the green paint, it was funny watching green water go down the sides of our building.

We painted it with a non slip paint from Resene Non-Skid Deck & Path. I can find the colour we used on the website, but its quite dark when its dries. I love it

Name the puppy

Who knew this would be such a hard thing to do.

Bf wants to call her Batman because of the big ears. I've grown to like it now, but would love a different name.

Potential names are;

Batman - because of the ears
Pepe' - like Pepe la Pou

Sookie - Character in Tru Blood

But so many to consider.

We getty the little one in about 1 weeks time. She is a beautiful French Bulldog from Sarchelles Breeders in Victoria.

Going to Lorne on on Sunday Arvo for a couple of days.
Staying at The Cumberland. I love it there.

Beach Front Apartment. They have a tennis court, so we should take the rackets with us and maybe kieran can teach me to play the game properly.... maybe
I just like to hit the ball as hard as i can, i even think i do this subconsciously.

I want to walk to the waterfalls and not sure what else, I'm even contemplating morning swimming!!!!!!! it will be super cold.

I've been informally diagnosed with Fructose malabsorption!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
similar to Lactose intolerance which i have. I have noticed the foods associated with this are making me sick.......

So i'm going to try really hard to stick to their recomended food to see if i feel.

I need to get a book writen by Sue Sheppard, she apparently is an expert and has recipe and shoppin guides.

RIP Messmer

Not a great week for my family.

Messmer was a beautiful dog just like Clifford the big red dog.

I will miss her terribly.... This was a very hard post to write

To xmas tree or not to xmas tree

I love real xmas trees, but the BF doesn't. He believes that his food and drinks will taste like pine and there will be all these pines needles everywhere. I'm sure you realise he is a idiot.

I want a real one but the alternative is to hang things on our stick vase. There is a locket hanging on the sticks int he photo (cottonsocks HoH locket), so you get the picture.

I say real one!

Outdoor Stools

So my balcony is still in progress with getting it to the way i want it.

Table and chairs are not practical and would take up too much space (imo).

Firstly our place is a different shape apartment to most. Its in a Triangle... no seriously so our balcony runs the whole way around but its very skinny on the sides and larger in the middle.

The balcony is fenced (for lack of a better word) off by double brick rendered perimeter.

To this i want to get a plank of wood, probably a recyled piece of timber or maybe even a cut up railway sleeper, it will need to be about 3 metres in length.

Stools

I always thought i wanted tall stools and i searched everywhere for ones that i liked, with no luck. I'm so happy i never found them because on the balcony one say i tested what the height you would be sitting at and well for me it was fine but who someone else its a little high and you feel like there is no barrier to stop you from falling. small stools it is

These are really cute i saw them in a shop called Exhibit on Russel and there is one in Albert Park. They have a matching table. They are not really for the outside but the black one would not really show any rust marks. I think they are about $90 each

But the toaster i would probable say get a different one.

The burners are uneven, you need to turn the toast midway for even burn

are seriously the most comfortable pair of heels i own. (i have to say i do own quite a few heels)

either one really not sure but probably Cocolee. i really enjoy their sites because of the constant change of clothing/designers.

Puppy

So I'm getting a puppy.... French bulldog in fact
Her name is up in the air but BF is adamant about BATMAN... I'm not so keen but it does make him really happy naming things.

So Myer had a sale and the BF was super excited about getting a vacuum............. he likes it.

So he wanted a Dyson and decided that the DC29 was the one for us........ price wise aswell.

Its super cute and i'm really happy we got a Dyson.... but i have a teeny tiny weeny problem. i looked at the Dyson website and saw one with a motorised head and its wraps up super small.

I have a new lease on bloglife with my new camera....... but not sure when i will be able to take great photo from it yet,,,,,,,, i'm still to read the manual.

Its a Arthur G, and we were so happy with the help they gave us.

Our apartment has such a funny shape that we needed to get it specially made so its quite long 2.6m and 1m depth.
The other problem is that the elevator and the stairwells arnt that tall. so we then had to get the couch made into 2 pieces.

SO the above picture you need to imagine that it only has 2 cushions and then a split and 2 mini legs in the middle.

It has already been delivered and we love it.

The floor has yet to be put down in our apartment. so the sofa is camping out at Kiz's Yia Yia place

So CS and CS have convinced me to go to hawaii in August.

This means i have time to save/convince kiz/go to theropy about my phobia of the sun/get skinny

So CS(squared) need to tell me the dates so i can find suitable accom!!!!!

Xmas

Fun times for the family.

I got some excellent things for cristmas. My favourite was the alessi stuff from Cotton Socks.










I was givin a giftcard to David Jones for 100 so i purchased a IRON... hehe Kiz was not really happy with that, but we do need one for the apartment.





Also got a really nice Countryroad Throw.

So i'm sure i got other things but i forget.

I'm BACK!

Sort of never really went anywhere.

I think i'm just going to post some photo about the holiday tomfoolery.

My Bf (NKotB)was given a rundown lowrider, so we went to this lowrider heaven bike shop on johnson st, Collingwood and got complete new wheels and tyres and went on home to fix the sad little bikie up.

I broke the bike pump.....oops (it was shit anyway)

I cleaned the bike and polished it. It was pretty full on, 2 years of sitting around at a beach house. Filthy. I need to take a better picture for the after, my room really isn't good enough to show you the shine.

Unfortunately i had a trip to Fiji in the middle of december. I have some photos from there that i will post. The reason for going was horrible but the country of Fiji.... ok i only went to Suva was beautiful.
